Closing the Loop by Operationalizing Systems Engineering and Design (CLOSED)
Motivation:
Specific Aims :
Aim 1:​Use systems engineering and patient engagement to design, develop, and refine a highly reliable “closed loop” system for diagnostic tests and referrals that ensures diagnostic orders and follow-up occur reliably within clinically- and patient-important time-frames.
​
Aim 2: Use systems engineering and patient engagement to design, develop, and refine a highly reliable “closed loop” system for symptoms that ensures clinicians receive and act on feedback about evolving symptoms and physical findings of concern to patients or clinicians.
​
Aim 3: Design for generalizability across health systems more broadly so that the processes created in Aims 1 and 2 are effective in (1) a practice in an underserved community, (2) a large tele-medicine system, and (3) a representative range of simulated other health system settings and populations.

177 Huntington Avenue is located on the corner of Belvidere Street and Huntington Avenue.
By Public Transportation
Take the Green Line from any direction to either the Prudential (E-line), Symphony (E-line), or Hynes (B-line, C-line, D-line) stops.

From Prudential Stop
Exit the station via the Huntington Avenue exit. Upon exiting the station you will see the Christian Science Plaza and 177 Huntington Avenue. The walk from the station to the entrance to the building is 1 minute.

From Symphony Stop
Exit the station and head East on Huntington Avenue, crossing Massachusetts Avenue. Walk towards the Prudential Center for 3 minutes, and 177 Huntington will be on your left.

From Hynes Stop
Exit the station and turn left onto Massachusetts Avenue. Continue on Massachusetts Avenue until reaching the Christian Science Plaza. Walk across the plaza to the opposite end of the reflecting pool, where 177 Huntington Avenue is located.
Directions
We are located roughly 2 blocks east of the Northeastern University main campus, at 177 Huntington Avenue. This is the concrete office building between the Church of Christian Science and the Prudential building. We are located on the 12th floor. When you enter the lobby on the first floor, the security desk near the elevators will have your name to send you upstairs.

Parking is available for $15 to visitors of 177 Huntington Avenue. The lot is underneath the Christian Science Plaza, and its entrance is near the intersection of Huntington and Massachusetts Avenues, next to Horticultural Hall.
